SOBE LIVE is located in the heart of South Beach. SOBE LIVE’s name and concept originated from the founder and owner Cecile Barker, whom also owns a record company “SOBE ENTERTAINMENT” located on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.
SOBE LIVE was designed to showcase and promote SOBE ENTERTAINMENTS up and coming acts and provide a hip place where anyone who has a passion for dance and good music can come and listen to the best local DJs without the pretense and hype of most south beach nightclubs.
SOBE LIVE is a club that plays real music for real people. Any time of the week when you go to SOBE LIVE you can hear the best DJs on the beach spinning Hip Hop, House, Old School, R&B, and Reggaeton. DJ AFFECT is one of our local DJs that spins on Thursday’s to give you a mix of Rock, R&B, house, old school and Hip-hop. On Fridays, we have DJ ELEMENT spinning hip hop, R&B, along with old school jams. Saturday’s DJ SURGE from the “Terror Squad” tears it up with Raggaeton, Hip-Hop, R&B and old school.
SOBE LIVE has “The 1st Dynacord Alpha Concept” audio system on South Beach. SOBE LIVE has the complete Audio System Design and Installation and is outfitted with two large movie sized screens that hover over the bar. They can play DVD or VHS tapes, and live TV throughout the night to enhance your club experience.
SOBE LIVE has a mezzanine area on the second floor with a private bar that over looks the entire club. This area can be booked for private parties or large parties of up to 50 people. If you want to talk to friends and chill out to get away from the loud music and chaos of the club scene, SOBE LIVE has a lounge area in the back with sofas, tables, and incandescent lighting. There are two VIP areas that surround the dance floor. They main VIP can be selected off to cater to private parties or Celebrities. The clubs, occupancy load, fits approximately 600 people at one time.
SOBE LIVE also caters to private events, weddings, bar mitzvahs, media events, bachelor/bachelorette parties, runway events and showcases. There is a small stage that over looks the whole club and additional staging can be added to accommodate a full band or runway. The DJ booth over looks the main room and is equipped with the top of the line DJ equipment.
